Sinoć se održala Critics Choice Awards 2024., dodjela nagrada koju godišnje dodjeljuje Američko-kanadsko udruženje kritičara (CCA) u čast najboljih filmskih postignuća.
Nimalo iznenađujuće, film Oppenheimer je bio veliki pobjednik na ovogodišnjoj dodjeli, koji je sa sobom odnio čak osam trofeja – uključujući onaj u kategoriji za Najbolji film, Najboljeg redatelja (Christopher Nolan) i Najboljeg sporednog glumca (Robert Downey Jr.).
Njega slijedi Barbie sa šest pobjeda, uključujući kategoriju Najbolje komedije i Najbolje pjesme (“I’m Just Ken”).
Što se tiče televizijskog dijela, tu je bilo manje iznenađenja, jer su, nama ne toliko poznati ali u Americi humoristični favoriti Huluov “The Bear,”, HBO-ov “Succession” i Netflixov “Beef” osvojili više glumačkih nagrada.
