Iako se vjeruje kako se The Kinks neće nanovo okupiti, bend je za božićne blagdane odlučio objaviti CD kolekciju “Picture Book” koji sadrži ni manje ni više nego 130 pjesama, te poduža knjižica s biografijama članova i posebnim iznenađenjima, a u prodaji će se naći početkom prosinca.
“Picture Book” podijeljen je na šest diskova koji kronološkim redom prate pjesme među kojima će se naći rariteti, demo snimke, snimke sa nastupa uživo, a kao posebna poslastica naći će se i pjesme iz demo benda The Ravens nastalih prije samih The Kinksa.
Ono što opsežna knjižica nudi jest cijeli niz neobjavljenih fotografija, kronologiju i biografije benda na 60 stranica.
