Preminuo narator koji je izgovorio legendarne “Its number is six hundred and sixty six”

Ime mu je bilo Barry Clayton, a njegov glas zapamtit će svi oni koje su trnci prošli kada bi čuli početak jedne od najlegendarnijih stvari Iron Maidena – “The Number of the Beast“.

Bilo je to 1982. kada je izašao Maidenov klasik, a prvotno im je trebao pomoći horor glumac Vincent Price, ali kako je tražio previše novca, odlučili su se za Claytona koji je čitao priče na radiju.Podsjetimo se tih riječi još jednom:
“Woe to You Oh Earth and Sea
for the Devil sends the beast with wrath
because he knows the time is short
