Svih šest studijskih albuma kultnih škotskih alter-rockera The Jesus And Mary Chain tijekom ove jeseni od strane etikete Demon Edsel Records doživjet će deluxe 2CD/1DVD reizdanja.
Albumi će tako uz originalne albume sadržavati pregršt pridodanog audio i vizualnog bonus materijala (B-strane singlova, raritete, live sessione, promotivne videospotove, nastupe u raznim televizijskim emisijama…) nastalog oko vremena originalne objave svakoga.
Za sada su poznati detalji samo prvih dvaju studijskih albuma, dok će oni ostalih biti obznanjeni na vrijeme.
“Psychocandy” je dosegnuo 31. mjesto britanskog i 188. mjesto američkog charta te iznjedrio singlove “Never Understand” (UK#47), “You Trip Me Up” (UK#55) i “Just Like Honey” (UK#45).
“Darklands” je dogurao do 5. mjesta prvog i 161. mjesta potonjeg charta te iznjedrio singlove “April Skies” (UK#8), “Happy When It Rains” (UK#25) i naslovni “Darklands” (UK#33).
Oba albuma u domovini benda ostvarila su zlatnu tiražu te time postala njihova najuspješnija studijska izdanja u karijeri ikada. Originalno ih je objavila Warner Brosova etiketa Blanco y Negro.
