The Verve će 1. rujna objaviti reizdanje albuma “Urban Hymns” kojim su prije 20 godina osvojili svijet na prepad: album je samo u Engleskoj postao jedanaest puta platinast i nalazi se među 20 najprodavanijih albuma u britanskoj povijesti.
“Bittersweet Symphony” vjerojatno je najpoznatija pjesma s njega, no ona – za razliku od “The Drugs Don’t Work” – nikada nije zasjela na čelno mjesto britanskih ljestvica.
“Urban Hymns: 20th Anniversary Edition” bit će dostupno u nekoliko formata: CD, dupli deluxe album, pet CD-ova/DVD izdanje, a tu je još i vinil. Među novim materijalom su B-sides snimke, tri sata live materijala među kojima je i slavni koncert iz Haigh Halla (Wigan) 1998., neobjavljeni intervjui i fotografije, posteri, razglednice i još mnogo toga.
