Kao i u prethodna dva slučaja, do konačnih rezultata došao je uz pomoć medijske istraživačke kuće Nielsen SoundScan, prikupljanjem svih podataka s raznih top-lista te brojem njihovih downloadova. Kao i ona redovna, lista također sadržava 200 mjesta.
Tako je na 1. mjestu završio drugi studijski album američkog boy-benda ‘N Sync – multiplatinasti “No Strings Attached” iz 2000., a na 2. ga mjestu slijedi podjednako uspješni “Confessions” r&b sunarodnjaka im Ushera objavljen četiri godine kasnije. 3. mjesto zauzeo je Eminemov #1 album “The Eminem Show” iz 2002. godine.
