Nakon što je odgodila datum izlaska novog albuma i na svom zaključanom Instagram profilu objavila popis pjesama, Lana Del Rey objavila je “Did You Know That There’s A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd”, svoj deveti studijski album.
Na albumu se nalazi 16 pjesama koje sveukupno traju otprilike sat i 20 minuta, a one uključuju i gostovanja Jona Batistea na “Candy Necklace”, SYML na “Paris, Texas”, Riopyja na “Grandfather Please Stand on the Shoulders of My Father While He’s Deep – Sea Fishing” i Fathera Johna Mistyja na “Let the Light In”. Na pjesmi “Peppers” pojavljuje se i bend Bleachers koji predvodi producent albuma Jack Antonoff, a “Margaret” je nazvana po Margaret Qualley, Antonoffovoj zaručnici.
Album koji je prvi put najavljen u prosincu prošle godine slijedi “Chemtrails Over the Country Club” i” Blue Banisters” iz 2021. Vraćajući se ranijem zvuku i stilu glazbe s albuma “Norman Fucking Rockwell” iz 2019., Lana je i u novu pjesmu, “Taco Truck x VB” semplirala “Venice Bitch”.
