“Clouds Taste Metallic”, sedmi studijski album The Flaming Lipsa slavi 20. rođendan i tim će povodom 27. studenoga doživjeti svoje bogato reizdanje.
Imenovano “Heady Nuggs 20 Years After Clouds Taste Metallic 1994-1997“, reizdanje će uz originalni album još sadržavati B-strane singlova te raritete.
Rariteti će biti skupljeni pod nazivom “The King Bug Laughs“, a među njima će se naći nekolicina pjesama s kompilacijskih albuma, John Peel sessiona i tribute albuma nastalih u periodu oko originalnog izlaska albuma 1995. godine, uključujući covere Johna Lennona “Nobody Told Me”, Davida Bowiea “Life On Mars?” i T.Rexa “Ballrooms Of Mars”.
Oni će biti pridodani “Due To High Expectations… The Flaming Lips Are Providing Needles For Your Balloons“, kompilaciji tada još neobjavljenih pjesama iz 1994. godine objavljenoj između studijskih uradaka “Transmissions From The Satellite Heart” (1993.) i “Clouds Taste Metallic”.
Na reizdanju će se još naći i snimka koncerta uživo iz Seattlea 1996. godine pod nazivom “Psychiatric Explorations Of The Fetus With Needles (Live In Seattle 1996)“.
Album će biti reizdan na raznim formatima, od kojih će najveći biti mamutski potpisani i numerirani peterostruki kolor vinilni box-set s potpisom Waynea Coynea, trima replikama postera te majicama kratkih rukava Lipsa iz vremena originalnog izlaska.
