Robert Plant, jedan od vodećih rock vokala, i Alison Krauss, zvijezda bluegrass glazbe, udružili su snage i snimili album “Raising Sand“, koji će biti objavljen pred kraj listopada.
Materijal je sniman u Los Angelesu i Nashvilleu, a za produkciju je bio zadužen T-Bone Burnett. Na albumu će se naći 13 obrada pjesama izvođača kao što su Tom Waits, The Everley Brothers, Gene Clark i Mel Tillis.
U snimanju albuma su sudjelovali brojni glazbenici, poput Marca Ribota, Mikea Seegera, te Patricka Warrena.
