Nine Inch Nails ipak neće razočarati fanove u 2016.

Prošlogodišnje obećanje Trenta Reznora kako će Nine Inch Nails u 2016. objaviti novi materijal, neće pasti u vodu.

Iako je godina na izmaku, sada je putem bendovog Facebooka službeno potvrđeno da će novi materijal izaći 23. prosinca.U pitanju je EP koji će sadržavati 5 novih pjesama, dok će sam EP nositi naziv “Not the Actual Events” te će biti objavljen u digitalnom obliku i na vinilu.

Reznor je na njemu ponovno radio sa svojim dugogodišnjim suradnikom Atticusom Rossom, koji je sada postao i službeni član benda.

Također je najavljen i izlazak vinilnog limitiranog izdanja “The Fragile: Deviations 1” koji će se sastojati od četiri ploče, i činit će 37 instrumentalnih i alternativnih verzija, kao i nekoliko nikada objavljenih pjesama.

Vinilna reizdanja su osim za “The Fragile”, planirana i za “Broken” i “The Downward Spiral”.
