Koliko god posljednje godine slavnog Phila Spectora bacaju mrlju na njegovu karijeru, njegov utjecaj na pop glazbu nije sporan.
U čast njegove revolucionarne ‘wall of sound’ tehnike, sredinom listopada u prodaji će se naći box-set “Phil Spector Presents the Phillies Album Collection” koji na sedam diskova donosi dio albuma koje je Spector producirao između 1962. i 1964., kompilaciju i bonus instrumentale.
Tri albuma The Crystals (na kojima su pjesme “Da Doo Ron Ron” i “Then He Kissed Me”), The Ronettes (“Be My Baby”) zastupljeni su na izdanju uz mnoge druge izvođače.
