Reizdanje kompletnog opusa grupe Hurricane #1

Oba studijska albuma britanske '90s indie-rock grupe Hurricane #1 od strane etikete Cherry Red Records sredinom listopada doživjet će svoja reizdanja.
Originalno izdani za etiketu Creation Records/Sony Music, albumi "Hurricane #1" i "Only The Strongest Will Survive" na svojim proširenim dvostrukim CD reizdanjima sadržavat će pregršt pridodanog bonus materijala nastalog oko vremena originalne objave svakoga, 1997. odnosno 1999. godine.
Prvi je dosegnuo 11. mjesto britanskoga charta te iznjedrio tri singla - "Step Into My World" (UK#29), "Just Another Illusion" (UK#35) i "Chain Reaction" (UK#30), dok se potonji pozicionirao na 55. mjesto istoga te iznjedrio singlove - "Only The Strongest Will Survive" (UK#19, 1998.), "Rising Sun" (UK#47, 1998.), "The Greatest High" (UK#43, 1999.) i "Remote Control" (1999.).
Hurricane #1 u Oxfordu 1996. osnovao je Andy Bell nakon raspada prijašnjeg mu benda Ride u kojem je svirao gitaru. Osim njega postavu benda su činili vokalist i gitarist Alex Lowe, basist Will Pepper i bubnjar Gareth Farmer.
Bend je svoj službeni raspad obznanio 1999. godine, a Bell se nakratko pridružio sunarodnjacima sličnog im zvuka Gay Dad. Nakon odlaska iz Gay Dada pridružio se bendu Oasis u kojem je svirao bas gitaru.
Lowe se otisnuo u solo karijeru tijekom koje je objavio tri samostalna studijska albuma te oformio svoj novi projekt, Garage Flowers.
